How to read a matchup
Small samples are normal
Two players may have met for only a handful of balls. The ball count is shown first for exactly that reason — read it before the strike rate.
Dismissals are the story
A bowler who has dismissed a batter twice in thirty balls owns that contest, whatever the runs column says.

Every figure is counted from the ball-by-ball record, not from a summary — which is why it exists at all.
